Visiting viblo.com
This site runs Viblo itself. While you're here, your visit is recorded as a background session: the page as you saw it, scrolling, clicks, the pages you visit here, and technical errors. Everything you type into a field is masked, and no audio is recorded. The bar at the bottom of the page says so, and Don't record me stops it (your choice is kept in your browser). If you use Give feedback, we receive your note, or your screen recording and, only if you allow the microphone, your voice. We use these recordings to improve Viblo.
Your Viblo account
You sign in with Google or GitHub, which gives us your name, email address and an account identifier. We use a secure cookie to keep you signed in. We keep your account until you ask us to delete it.
Using the Viblo dashboard
We record how the dashboard is used so we can improve it: layout, clicks, navigation and errors. All text on the page is masked, and recordings, players, thumbnails and lists of people are left out, so none of your recordings or your visitors' data is captured. The Give feedback button there sends us your note, or your screen and, only if you allow it, your voice.
Recordings from your sites
When you add Viblo to your site, we receive recordings of your visitors on your behalf: what you switch on (feedback, background sessions), with inputs always masked and anything else you choose to mask or block left out. You decide what your visitors are told and whether you ask their consent; Viblo supports asking first. Background session recordings are kept for 30 days, then deleted. Feedback is kept for as long as your account exists; ask us and we'll delete any of it.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare hosts Viblo and stores accounts and recordings, and handles every request, including your IP address. Spoken feedback is transcribed by Cloudflare Workers AI. To tag and summarise recordings, their text evidence (notes, transcripts, clicks, errors; not the video itself) is sent through OpenRouter to TypeSafe's JEV model and to OpenAI. These providers process it only to return a tag, transcript or summary to us. We don't sell data, and there are no advertising trackers.
Support access
Viblo staff may access your account, including its recordings, to give you support, investigate a problem or abuse, or keep the service secure. Access is limited to named staff, read-only, ends within an hour, and every access is logged.
Agents you connect
If you connect a coding agent (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex…), it can do what you approved on the sign-in page: your whole account or one project. You can disconnect it at any time under API & MCP in the dashboard.
Your choices
Email hello@viblo.com to see, correct or delete your data, or to delete your account. If you email us, Cloudflare forwards it to the founder's inbox so we can reply.
